3 Russian soldiers were killed when a Ukrainian drone crashed


 Three Russian soldiers were killed when debris from a Ukrainian drone crashed, the Russian Defense Ministry said, at a military base in the Saratov region, 730 kilometers southeast of Moscow.


According to the report of the foreign news agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense has admitted that 3 soldiers were killed in a drone attack on the Engels military air base in the city of Saratov.


According to the statement released by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian drone aircraft targeted the Engels military base in Saratov. The drone was flying low.


According to the statement, it was shot down by the Russian air defense system at 1:35 p.m., due to the fact that the pieces of the drone fell on the base, 3 soldiers were killed on the spot. However, no statement was issued by Ukraine regarding the attack.


Earlier, in the statement issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense on December 5, it was announced that 3 soldiers were killed and 2 aircraft were damaged in the drone attacks on the Engels and Diaghilev military bases.


It should be noted that Russia is using the Engels military base to launch various and long-range missiles of Ukraine. The Russian military launched attacks on Ukraine on February 24 this year.
